DAY 2 OF CZECH TRIPBreakfast was a feast! all you can eat. sausages, eggs, ham, cheese, yoghurt, corn flakes, crossiants, fruits! mmmm! although it was the
same everyday. then we had some concert marathon where choirs from other countries sang. then we had lunch at some restaurant- chicken cutlet and potatoes again. abit too salty but nevertheless delicious. we were given free time to explore the square which had many fountains. cool architecture. ice cream there is a
dream! so rich and unique! we performed for the opening of the festival and the audience once again went
hysterical at "Sinten Nunggang Sepur". we gained many fans.
Dinner was back at the hotel. a variation of tomato rice and fish i think. i got a shock when i saw a waiter groping another waitress' butt. this is what stoning gives me. we were like
stars there. everyone even strangers was cheering "Singapore" wherever we went. at some point of time in the day, we visited a gothic cathedral. it was really beautiful, brilliant architecture. inside was one of europe's biggest church organs. mostly we travelled around either by foot, bus or tram whose door chime sounded weirdly similar to Cadbury's "wouldn't it be nice" advertisement. the weather in Czech is soothing. freezing breezes created aircon 24/7 while the sun's rays provided a hint of warmth. it drizzled once or twice.
DAY 3 OF CZECH TRIP
This was the day of nothing but practice practice and more practice!
literally from morning to evening! only had breaks for lunch and dinner which was more chicken and potatoes. we also utilized one of our breaks to go on a shopping spree at the nearest supermarket called Albert. we bought
loads of chocolates there! many good buys as stuff there were quite cheap. but at the end of the day when we sang "Ave Verum Corpus" slowly and with more feeling, it sounded really really
nice. same for our other songs. nelson was happy.
