hey! i just got back yesterday. the trip was really
great! i'll give you guys full details of what happened later. my nose was bleeding throughout the plane rides and it was still bleeding last night. chunks of blood. its quite funny coz my head is still on the plane. its like going up up up and down and up and up and down and turning around. hahaha. this trip has really made my love for flying grow stronger and stronger. i think i really wanna be a pilot when i grow up! i wanna work for emirates! hahaha. guess what?
we snatched golds in all 3 categories that we participated in.
all of which we scored
above 95/100. we emerged
winners of 2 of the categories. raffles junior college beat us only to the mixed youth category where we scored 95/100 and they had 100/100. but they didn't compete in the more difficult mixed youth superior category where we emerged category winners. our male chorus was even one of the six to make it to the
grand finals together with the vocal consort singapore and rjc. a boys choir from lithuania emerged as the absolute winner for the whole competition. they were terrific. they really deserved to win! but we were like stars there. everyone was cheering "singapore" even strangers on the streets! you can catch us on
