i'm soooo excited! kim and i met up after a zillion years. great to see her again! she looks so freaking cool with her goth hair and eyes. ahhh!! we ran across the street to tm's sistic counter like crazy fan girls! hahahahahaah. and we finally got a hold of muse tickets!!! omgomgomg! i can't wait! i want to bow to the guitar god! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Spindrift's gonna jam soon too! yipeee! wonder how was the 4/6 reunion yesterday. the Voices of Harmony, Sound of a Thousand Years charity concert was great fun! it was really cool to be able to walk through the backstage of the indoor stadium, seeing framed up autographs of celebrities that lined the hallways. singing with the singapore chinese orchestra and perform for MM Lee at the same time was really a memorable experience. we performed to a full house.
great, now i have monk songs stuck in my head. they gave us long beans and rice for dinner which was kind of plain. there was this group of mjc fools aka "the foldovers" who were talking 24/7 and making so much noise. like omg. please. plus they were standing in front of me and shannon on stage. i think they're seriously deprived or maybe they studied too much till they are totally oblivious to the dumb things that come out of their mouths.
anyway thanks to them we had a good laugh. the journey home proved to be wild. there were so many ah-sohs and ah-peks on the road waiting for the bus. super uncivilized and inconsiderate. when the bus finally arrived, they pushed and shoved each other up!! a kid even stuck his head outta the window shouting for his family to come up.
what losers. i didn't want to get touched so i stepped aside. the bus driver could only laugh. i've never seen a bus so packed that it had to move off without closing the door. i kind of felt like i was in india or china. there were no buses in sight for ages and the only cabs that came were all on-call. luckily sherlyn was there to call and share a cab home with me otherwise i think i'll have to take a long hike home.
kind of feel sad that the qatar asian games are over. =( no more hot guys. no more diving.
